Can a book change your outlook on life?

Can a book change your outlook on life?

Years may pass while we are preoccupied with the details of life, without pausing to ask ourselves the purpose of our existence.

But the Holy Quran, which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God, calls on man to reflect on these questions, to know his Creator and to think about his destiny.

It addresses the mind by encouraging contemplation of the universe, the heart by conveying meanings of mercy and forgiveness, and the conscience by calling for justice and benevolence.

Muslims believe that the Holy Qur'an is the word of God revealed to guide mankind. It is not merely words to be read, but a message that introduces God, the Creator, to man, explaining the meaning of faith and how to live according to the values and teachings of Islam.

Therefore, the journey of getting to know the Qur’an may be the beginning of a deeper understanding of Islam, and of discovering a different view of life and the relationship of man with his Creator and with the world around him.
