Is Jesus son of God?

In Islam, Jesus is not considered to be the son of God. Instead, he is regarded as a prophet and messenger of Allah, sent to guide humanity towards the right path. Islamic beliefs hold that Allah's oneness cannot be shared by others in the form of children or partners.

While Muslims revere Jesus and his teachings, they reject the idea of him being divine or having any association with God in terms of kinship.

The Quran emphasizes that believing in the Trinity or Jesus' divinity is a grave sin against monotheism. Additionally, Muslims believe that Jesus was not crucified but instead raised directly to heaven by God, and that someone else was mistakenly executed in his place.

Overall, while recognizing and respecting Jesus' significance as a prophet in their faith, Muslims do not consider him God's son or part of a divine trinity.
