Why do Muslims believe in one God?

Why do Muslims believe in one God?

When we contemplate the heavens, the earth, and what lies between them, we see an interconnected universe governed by precise laws, which leads us to wonder about the Creator of this existence.

In the Holy Quran, there is an invitation to reflect: If the universe had more than one god, how would its system be consistent with the multiplicity of independent wills?

Hence, the belief in Islam is based on the fact that God is one, He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, He has no partner in His dominion and He does not need anyone else.

God is not a god specific to a people or nation, but the Lord of the worlds and the Creator of all mankind, regardless of their languages and cultures.

Therefore, monotheism in Islam is not merely a belief in the existence of one God, but rather an invitation for every person to know his Creator and to turn to Him alone in worship and supplication.
